🗓 29th & 30th September 2026 | 📍 Artemis House | ⏰ 10am – 4pm
Join us at Artemis House for a two-day workshop exploring the Ayurvedic approach to mental and emotional wellbeing, with a focus on the subtle physiology of mind and consciousness.
In Ayurveda, mental and emotional health is understood through the interplay of doshas, gunas, agni, ojas, tejas and prana, as well as the integrity of the manovaha srotas and the nourishment of deeper tissues such as majja dhatu. In contemporary life, chronic stress, sensory overload and the upheaval of life transitions disturb these systems, leading us to feel depleted, emotionally vulnerable and even mentally unstable – conditions increasingly seen in all stages of life, including childhood.
This workshop draws on the amazing wisdom of Ayurveda and its incredible materia medica, with particular emphasis on medhya rasayanas and nervine herbs that support mental clarity, emotional steadiness and resilience. We will explore how herbs, diet and lifestyle can help balance the doshas, restore sattva and protect ojas in the face of the stresses and strains of everyday life.
What We’ll Cover

More Info
The Ayurvedic Continuing Study Workshops are open to people who have some previous knowledge of Ayurveda and offer an opportunity to focus on one specific topic for the whole of a two-day workshop.
Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. These are in-person workshops only, with no additional online content, although some topics may be supported with handouts.
These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding and application of Ayurvedic principles, building on the knowledge you’ve already gained and helping you translate it into practical, everyday actions.
The workshops are held at Artemis House in the Cotswolds, where we have a beautiful herb garden with over 150 medicinal plants, laid out in a spiral representing a journey through a woman’s life, expressed through herbs.
