🗓 16th June 2026 | 📍 Artemis House
This morning herb walk is held at Artemis House in the Cotswolds, where we have a beautiful herb garden with over 150 medicinal plants. The garden is unique in its spiral formation, designed as a journey through a woman’s life expressed through herbs. We enter the garden at the area dedicated to birth, walking through a rose arch into the main garden, winding gently through the areas of planting towards a tranquil pond, representing paradise. We follow a narrow gravel path round the spiral, encouraging a slower, more reflective pace as we explore each stage of life planted with the herbs most supportive for women in this phase of their lives.
The garden is not just functional, but beautiful too and in June it will be imbued with delicious scents of roses and a multitude of other sweetly scented flowering plants. After your garden tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the dispensary which is filled with medicines and teas prepared from the garden herbs as well as Anne’s books. Please remember to bring cash if you would like to buy anything from the dispensary as we cannot accept cards.
The gardens at Artemis House form a living classroom. Beyond the spiral garden is a dedicated learning area offering a welcoming and immersive educational environment, including a large log cabin, an outdoor classroom for fine weather and an open-air kitchen for tea breaks. Surrounded by the plants they are studying, students gain hands-on insight into the medicinal properties and traditional uses of herbs in a setting designed to inspire learning, reflection and connection with nature.
