Description

🗓 3rd & 4th November 2026 | 📍 Artemis House | 10am – 4pm

This workshop explores the Ayurvedic science of rejuvenation, rasayana, one of the eight classical branches of Ayurveda. Rasayana therapies are designed to strengthen immunity, enhance vitality, build resilience to stress and slow the ageing process. Traditionally recommended after detoxification, rasayana is especially beneficial for when you are tired, rundown, depleted after illness or during times of stress, during recovery or convalescence, for vata conditions and when used appropriately, at key life stages such as pregnancy, post-partum and childhood.

Drawing on wisdom that spans thousands of years and now supported by modern research, rasayana herbs are known for their adaptogenic and antioxidant properties, helping to protect the body from environmental stressors, mental and emotional strain, and the effects of ageing. By nourishing all seven tissues of the body, rasayana supports long-term health, immunity, strength and rejuvenation from the inside out – essentially giving us the energy to do  everything we want to and need to in life!

What We’ll Cover:

  • The principles of rasayana chikitsa and its role in classical Ayurveda
  • The effects of rasayana on the three doshas and the seven dhatus
  • Key rasayana herbs and formulations for immunity, vitality and resilience
  • Practical guidance on timing, indications and contraindications for rasayana therapy

More Info

The Ayurvedic Continuing Study Workshops are open to people who have some previous knowledge of Ayurveda and offer an opportunity to focus on one specific topic for the whole of a two-day workshop.

Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. These are in-person workshops only, with no additional online content, although some topics may be supported with handouts.

These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding and application of Ayurvedic principles, building on the knowledge you’ve already gained and helping you translate it into practical, everyday actions.

The workshops are held at Artemis House in the Cotswolds, where we have a beautiful herb garden with over 150 medicinal plants, laid out in a spiral representing a journey through a woman’s life, expressed through herbs.
