🗓 23rd & 24th March 2027 | 📍 Artemis House | ⏰ 10am – 4pm
In this workshop we will be looking at ways to find calm, stillness and clarity through the wisdom of Ayurveda.
In Ayurveda, mental and emotional health is understood through the interplay of doshas, gunas, agni, ojas, tejas and prana, as well as the integrity and nourishment of nerve tissue, known as majja dhatu. In contemporary life, chronic stress, sensory overload and the upheaval of life transitions disturb these, leading us to feel from time to time depleted, emotionally vulnerable and even mentally unstable – conditions increasingly seen in all stages of life, including childhood.
This workshop draws on the amazing wisdom of Ayurveda and its incredible materia medica, with particular emphasis on medhya rasayanas and nervine herbs that support relaxation, emotional steadiness and resilience. We will explore how herbs, diet and lifestyle can help balance the doshas, restore calm and nourish ojas in the face of the stresses and strains of everyday life.

The Ayurvedic Continuing Study Workshops are open to people who have some previous knowledge of Ayurveda and are an opportunity to focus on one specific topic for the whole of a two-day workshop.
Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. These are in-person workshops only, with no additional online content, although some topics may be supported with handouts.
These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding and application of Ayurvedic principles, building on the knowledge you’ve already gained and helping you translate it into practical, everyday actions.
The workshops are held at Artemis House in the Cotswolds, where we have a beautiful herb garden with over 150 medicinal plants, laid out in a spiral representing a journey through a woman’s life, expressed through herbs. Each workshop includes a delicious vegetarian lunch based on seasonal ingredients (please let us know if you have any dietary requirements).
