🗓 12th & 13th July 2027 | 📍 Artemis House | ⏰ 10am – 4pm
In this workshop we will be looking at ways to reduce inflammation and the accumulation of toxins using Ayurvedic wisdom.
Inflammation is a natural and essential part of the body’s healing and immune response. But when inflammation becomes chronic, it can contribute to tissue damage and a range of long-term health conditions.
In this workshop, we will explore:
- the causes of inflammation
- how lifestyle, diet, stress, digestion, sleep and emotional wellbeing can influence inflammatory processes
- why supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance is so important
You’ll discover practical ways to adopt a more anti-inflammatory lifestyle; including nutrition, herbs, exercise, yoga, meditation, sleep and time in nature. We’ll also look at the importance of creating daily and seasonal routines that support healthy digestion, resilience, immunity and overall wellbeing.
The course will help you understand the connection between body, mind and lifestyle, and provide practical tools for reducing inflammatory influences and supporting long-term health.

The Ayurvedic Continuing Study Workshops are open to people who have some previous knowledge of Ayurveda and are an opportunity to focus on one specific topic for the whole of a two-day workshop.
Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. These are in-person workshops only, with no additional online content, although some topics may be supported with handouts.
These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding and application of Ayurvedic principles, building on the knowledge you’ve already gained and helping you translate it into practical, everyday actions.
The workshops are held at Artemis House in the Cotswolds, where we have a beautiful herb garden with over 150 medicinal plants, laid out in a spiral representing a journey through a woman’s life, expressed through herbs. Each workshop includes a delicious vegetarian lunch based on seasonal ingredients (please let us know if you have any dietary requirements).
